Fraunhofer FOKUS

FhG Fokus is a worldwide leading research institute in the area of SIP and VoIP communication. FhG Fokus has provided the first implementation of a video conferencing system based on SIP and developed the popular SIP Express Router (ser) and the Open IMS Core platform. With this experience at hand, FhG Fokus has conducted several research contracts for industrial partners such as Deutsche Telekom, NEC and Siemens.

Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) is located in Athens, Greece. Through the Information Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Research Group, AUEB is actively involved in the areas of computer and network security, critical infrastructure protection, and data protection and privacy. The research group has been involved in several projects, in the area of ICT Security, funded by the Greek Public Administration (e.g. Ministries of Defence, Government, Health, Education, etc), as well as for several well known public and private institutions (e.g. Greek Data Protection Commission, Greek PTT (OTE), Hellas SAT, Athens International Airport, etc). Additionally, the exposure of the researchers to several international projects (e.g. SPIDER, SERENITY, eVOTE, etc.), complements a well experienced team in ICT security.

Eleven "Gesellschaft zur Vermarktung und Entwicklung von Netzwerktechnologien mbH" (company for marketing and development of network technologies ltd.) was founded in late 2001 in Berlin by four partners with experience in the internet, telecommunication and software industries.

The company focuses on the development and operation of IT-Security services and tools for monitoring and reducing IT-related business expenses. The company offers highly effective anti-SPAM products known under the trademark expurgate to ISPs and public mail providers such as BMW, T-Online and freenet (first and second largest ISPs in Germany) as well as cable providers.

VozTelecom, a young and fast growing Spanish company founded in February 2003 with currently ten employees. Since its establishment it has set up the first European interconnected SIP network, providing Hosted Internet Telephony Services to SOHO & SME, and begun their advanced Web-SIP Application Server development. The first PoP has been set-up in Madrid to provide services into the Spanish market, followed in 2004 by a European roll-out, in order to offer services in major European markets and most developed Latin America ones.
